Supervisor

I first came to Ireland with my partner over 15 years ago. I have worked in Ireland in the mushroom industry firstly as a grower and now as a supervisor with McKenna Mushrooms. I got married to my partner in 2008 and now have two children where they go to a local school in Navan.

I enjoy my job and working and living in Ireland, there are many benefits to working here in Ireland, within a few years myself and my wife were able to get a mortgage with the wages we earned here to buy an apartment back in Poland, this would not have been possible with the wages we earned in Poland.

Most of my family have now joined us her in Ireland, i.e. father, mother, sisters etc. and at least once a week we have a family dinner together which is very important to us. Myself and my wife have been able to go on many foreign holidays like Cyprus, Lanzorate and Greece. We as a family enjoy going to the local swimming pool and also in the Summer time we go to Bettystown beach.

Again there is many benefits to working with McKenna Mushrooms, you get paid weekly rather than monthly and the company is getting bigger each year which gives me reassurance of job security and income
